Review:
I just started reading this series and I fell in love with the story instantly. The way the book is written is really great and keeps you asking questions throughout the entire book!
The main character Savanah Parry, aka Ana, just moved three thousand miles across the country to escape her past, the memories haunting her, and the pain. She chooses the college furthest from her past to avoid the holes in her heart and to try to be normal. Slowly, you learn what Ana is running from.
Chastity Falls Academy is the place Ana chose to start over and forget about her past. Well at least the best that she can. Before arriving to Chastity Falls, she doesn’t know all of the mystery within the town and what it will bring to her.
Then Ana meets Jackson, the one who will break down her wall that she has so built up. Their romance is really intriguing and is full of ups and downs. Ana is falling fast for him, but she is completely shocked when she finds out who the real Jackson is… “In another life, I would have stolen your heart and never returned it.” - Jackson
This book really keeps you on your toes with all the twists and turns. There are so many secrets, mystery, and emotions in this book. Throughout the entire book I was trying to guess what was really going on or what was going to happen next. Most of the time I guessed wrong and didn’t expect somethings to happen that did. Some of it made me mad, sad, and happy (not usually all at the same time). The ending really shocked me and I wasn’t expecting what happened!
I also love the secondary characters! Elena is a sassy Latino and she will tell you how it is! I absolutely love her and everyone should have a friend like her who will always be there no matter what. Then there is Paul… sweet and simple Paul. He crushes really hard on Ana but once he finds out about Jackson, he backs off and realizes that he cannot compete.
I got so wrapped up in this book I read it within one night and started the second book immediately making it half way through that one. I really didn’t want to give anything away in this review because I want you to read it for yourself!
