Review: Cold as Ice by Jayme & Jody Morse

Cold as Ice by Jayme & Jody Morse
The Briar Creek Vampires
Book 5

Synopsis:

Returning to the present time without Dan was just the beginning of Lexi Hunter's problems. Struggling with the guilt she feels for leaving him behind and trying to bring him back, she is also faced with new decisions to make . . . decisions that will be life-altering. Should she drink the potion that Belinda gave her? Lexi soon realizes that she needs to decide quickly -- before someone can make the decision for her.

Review:

I really enjoy how every single one of the books in this series has kept me on my toes. I never know what to expect any more when I pick the book up!

I knew there was a reason I didn’t like Craig and you will see why in this book. However, now that there is no possible way Lexi and him would have a love interest, I am very thrilled! Craig was like the older creepy man that would hit on you and never leave you alone. Of course Craig gets her off the school grounds in a lock down because he uses Gabe by stating that he is trapped at Bear Cliff Park. Craig knew she would go to him because she isn’t over him. He leads her through the park to the top of the mountain and claims he can smell Gabe and then tries to drain Lexi. While Craig is choking her, she flashes an image of Dan from in the book back in the 1800’s.

I wasn't expecting the series to take such a turn. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It was another great one from the Morse sisters.

Rating: 5/5
